Dubai Holding has awarded a Dh5 billion contract to China State Construction Engineering Corporation Middle East (CSCEC ME) for its new headquarters and the Jumeirah Residences Emirates Towers. This is the largest building contract in the company’s history, according to the announcement. The agreement shows Dubai Holding’s significant commitment to projects that drive long-term economic and urban growth in Dubai.

The project, located in a prominent Dubai district, includes a new headquarters set for completion in 2029 and the residential towers scheduled for handover in 2030. The development is part of Dubai Holding’s strategy to invest in long-term economic and urban growth, with a focus on creating high-quality assets that enhance the city’s global standing. The strategic location ensures proximity to key business and lifestyle hubs, further integrating the project into Dubai’s urban fabric.

Amit Kaushal, Group CEO of Dubai Holding, emphasized the company’s disciplined approach to investment. He stated, We have a clear strategy for growth and a disciplined approach to capital deployment, focused on strengthening our portfolio, advancing high-quality assets and creating sustainable long-term value for the Group and the city. Kaushal further described the new headquarters as the “next phase” in Dubai Holding’s evolution, anticipating it will set a new benchmark for prime office space in Dubai.

The Jumeirah Residences Emirates Towers, a Meraas development, will feature 754 branded residences across two towers. Designed by SCDA Architects, the project aims to blend contemporary design with Jumeirah’s signature hospitality and services. Residents will have access to a range of lifestyle amenities, including wellness and leisure facilities, and direct connections to key Dubai destinations such as business districts, cultural landmarks, and entertainment hubs.

This project builds on Dubai Holding’s two-decade legacy of contributing to Dubai’s growth. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Holding, noted that the company has enabled economic activity equivalent to 30 percent of Dubai’s GDP. He stated, This investment reflects the same long-term ambition: to keep setting new standards for what a global city can achieve, and to strengthen Dubai as a global hub for business, investment and talent.

The contract shows Dubai Holding’s commitment to high-quality projects that enhance the city’s global standing. With completion dates set for the next decade, these developments are poised to shape Dubai’s future environment and economic trajectory.
